Those seeking to become members of the United States Military Training Corps. must meet several strict standards to become and maintain membership. The entrance requirements are as follows:

•  Exhibit proficiency in writing an entrance essay

•  Be subjected to a review panel of their peers

•  Be a minimum of 14 years old

•  Be currently enrolled in school and remain in school until age 18 or High School Graduation

•  Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher

•  Become proficient on math and science portion of state standardized test by the end of their junior year.

Also, after gaining membership, the member will be required to meet and maintain physical appearance standards such as:

• Hair Regulations

• Physical Fitness

• Weight Standards
